What’s in my library

The Eternal Waltz of Jacqueline Kennedy,  by Kristin Elizabeth Marshall - This book makes you think about living with the permanent of loss,  and how,  even though it leaves its mark upon us,  we find ways to keep living while remembering with honor those who are not. Read more about this debut novel at Julie Saffrin's blog.

The Distant Hours, by Kate Morton. Set in the fictitious town of Milderhurst,  England during World War II,  this novel reminds me of Robert Frost's poem about Resistance and how we must fight against "the drift of things." The "drift" here being the imprisonment of one's soul.

Remedies, by Kate Ledger – This book scours at the stains grief leaves on our soul. What a debut.

A new journey

A backward glance o’er traveled roads.

— Walt Whitman

Journeys.

We take them every day to live our lives.

Today, I invite you to take a journey down a travelled road of memories.

All you need to bring is your lifetime.

If you let it, this journey will change your life and the lives of those around you.
